With COVID-19 we are highly recommending that all attendees wear a mask to the event. For sustainability reasons feel free to bring a refillable water bottle, and if you feel safe to do so, carpooling is encouraged. The Chase House holds 100 peopel and we are capping registration at 80. 

Speaker Bios:

Shanti Douglas is a Mindfulness, Optimize and HeartMath Certified Trainer and Coach, Author and owner of 8 Limbs Holistic Health, LLC. She is passtionate about supporting others to gain better physical, mental, and emotional wellness and shares practical, integrative techniques that inspire confidence for lasting change. Training topics include leading with heart, resiliency to change and stress, compassion and self-care, mindful and emotional eating, mindfulness and meditation, time management, work flow and prioritization, and effective communication. Shanti is also the creator of the e-course Habits Made Easy and the author of Everyday Ease: Mindfully Moving from Burnout to Balance

Deborah Caldwell-Stone is the Director of the American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom and works on projects "addressing censorship and privacy in the library." Throughout her tenure, Deborah has worked closely with librarians, teachers, and library trustees on a wide range of intellectual freedom issues, including censorship of library resources, book challenges, internet filtering, meeting room policies and the impact of new technologies, regulations, and government surveillance on library users' privacy and confidentiality.
