Exploring AI Tools for Library Services

Curious about AI tools but not sure where to start? Join us for a hands-on “AI Petting Zoo” designed specifically for library workers.

During this interactive session, 3–4 colleagues will each demonstrate a favorite AI tool they’re using in their work. After each short demonstration, you’ll have 15–20 minutes to explore the tool yourself on your own device. Presenters will be available to answer questions and help you experiment in real time.

This is a practical, low-pressure opportunity to try new tools, ask questions, and consider how AI might support your library’s services and workflows.

Important: Participants must bring their own laptop or tablet.
Basic familiarity with web browsing and logging into online tools is recommended.

Come ready to click, test, and explore!

Questions? Contact Eileen Gilbert, READS conference committee,  at gilmanlibrarydirector@gmail.com

Registration is limited to 30 in person attendees.
