Reads Programming Committee

Our mission is to empower adult programming librarians in NH by providing professional development resources for adult programs and by facilitating connections among READS members.

Our classes fund speaker fees and feature development for our resources. Our class prices are currently set to:

$15 for READS members, while general NHLA members and guests paid $25

How to Join

If you are interested in joining the Programming Committee, please reach out to the committee chair, Susan Harmon, Manchester City Library, readspresident@nhlibrarians.org.

We meet every other month on the 2nd Wednesday at 1:30 PM.

As part of the committee, you can expect to devote 1-2 hours each month to the meeting and other tasks. We ask members to consider contributing a 1-2 hour presentation on a topic of expertise to share with fellow NH Librarians as a professional development class.

Reference 101, Programming 101, Programming on a budget, Collection Maintenance

Pricing is as follows:

  • 1-4 staff members: $80
  • 5-10 staff members: $200
  • 11-15 Staff members: $300
  • 16-20+ staff members: $400
