Timeline

Libraries on the Mobile Web
Kate Butler, Technology Librarian, Rodgers Memorial Library

The internet is always on. Libraries have adapted and now offer many online services 24/7. Now, thanks to mobile wireless devices, the internet is everywhere, and patrons will soon expect the library to follow. But what do mobile patrons really want from the library? What are the pitfalls associated with attempting to support mobile users and their myriad of devices? And is this just a fad or a revolution in the way people will access information?

Law I: New Hampshire Legal Reference for Public Librarians
Mary Searles, Law Librarian, New Hampshire Law Library
Kathy Fletcher, Reference and Public Services Librarian, Franklin Pierce Law Center Library

Sifting through web sites for legal information can be time–consuming and confusing. Two law librarians will review their picks for free, online sources of NH law and legal information.
