Volunteers in Service to America...in Our Libraries

In July 2009, the Manchester City Library welcomed our first VISTA, Thomas Acker, charged with establishing a technology training program aimed to empower Library staff to provide training to our patrons. Lichen will discuss the creation of the project, working with the VISTA program, through Tom's appointment. Tom will talk about his work as well as his experience as a VISTA.
