Which libraries can sponsor a kit?
Libraries must participate in the New Hampshire Interlibrary Loan Program, and have a van stop.
How long can a kit be checked out?
The usual length of time a kit may be checked out is eight weeks. However, the sponsoring library has some discretion based on demand.
How can book clubs borrow an RTG kit?
Kits are circulated through the ILL system. Book clubs should contact their local library. A library card is required.
How can libraries reserve a kit?
Reserves are based on demand and are left to the discretion of the sponsoring library. If you would like to reserve a kit, please contact the sponsoring library to discuss reserve options.
What are the criteria for adding a book to the list?
Additions must be current and available in paperback, with the exception of one large print copy. The book should present opportunities for discussion and have discussion questions available. Any candidate for addition to the list will be reviewed by the RTG Committee before being added.
What if all the books in a kit are not returned?
All kits must be returned to the sponsoring library by the due date. If missing items are not returned within two weeks of the due date, the sponsoring library will bill the borrowing library for the missing items.
What if a copy of a book is lost or damaged?
If a book is lost or damaged, contact the sponsoring library to discuss replacement options. In all cases of lost or missing items, patron responsibility is left to the discretion of the borrowing library.
