How to Borrow a Kit

To borrow a READS-TO-GO Kit, all you really need to do is place an interlibrary loan request for the desired kit through NHU-PAC. However, what we suggest doing first is checking to see if the desired kit is available or already checked out by another group.

To do this, select the desired kit from the Quick TItle Find dropdown menu at the top of this page (or any page in our website.) When you select the desired title, you will be taken to a new page which includes a link to check for availability. This link will connect you to the hosting library's online catalog where you should be able to see if the kit is available or checked out.

If the kit is not checked out, go ahead and place your request in NHU-PAC. However, if the kit is checked out, we recommend contacting the host library to get your library on their request list. Contact information for the host library is also provided on the page you get to from the Quick Title Find dropdown menu.
