READS Award of Excellence

This award is presented to a library staff member who provides direct or indirect service to library users in the reference or adult services area. The award is given once a year and recognizes outstanding service to library users. The award recipient will be recognized at the READS Annual Fall Program. 2007 Winner. Ellen Knowlton received the 2007 READS Award of Excellence. Knowlton, Head of Reference and Adult Services at the Merrimack Public Library, maintains the library's nonfiction, reference and periodical collections, plans a busy evening program series, and provides the Merrimack library users with the highest quality customer service. The award was presented on October 26 at the READS 2007 Fall program.
